Our Story

The Beginning

In 1994, during the World Youth Day celebrations in Manila, Philippines, a small group of dedicated individuals came together with a vision to serve those often forgotten by society. This marked the humble beginnings of what would become the Prison Ministry India - Tamilnadu.

Our Mission and Vision

Inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35-36, "I was in prison and you came to visit me," our ministry was founded on the principles of compassion, service, and rehabilitation. We believe in the inherent dignity of every individual, regardless of their past, and work towards their holistic development and reintegration into society.
